Luxury Waterfront Residence | Sleeps 20 | Walk to Surfers Paradise CBD
Anchorage Waters is a purpose-designed luxury waterfront residence positioned on exclusive Paradise Island — a quiet residential enclave connected to Surfers Paradise by a single road, yet only moments from beaches, dining and Cavill Avenue.
Here, you wake to calm, wide river water at your doorstep while the energy of Surfers Paradise sits just a short walk away. Absolute waterfront position, true walk-to-CBD convenience and seven private en-suite bedrooms under one roof is an exceptionally rare combination on the Gold Coast.
Very few homes truly deliver all three.
Built in 2014 as a dedicated holiday residence — not converted from a private home — Anchorage Waters was intentionally designed to host extended families and larger groups in comfort, privacy and style. The recent interior refresh has elevated its presentation while preserving the generous proportions that make it so functional.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 20 adult guests (plus infants within family groups) across seven spacious private suites - each with its own en-suite bathroom.
This is not simply large accommodation.
It is space designed so everyone can stay together - beautifully and without compromise.
Gather Together. Retreat Separately.
Each bedroom functions as a private suite, offering hotel-style comfort within a substantial waterfront residence.
Seven en-suites mean no sharing bathrooms, no morning queues and no compromises. Grandparents enjoy privacy. Teenagers have space. Parents relax knowing everyone is comfortable.
Even at full capacity, the home is designed so no one feels crowded - something rarely achieved in properties advertising similar numbers.
Multiple living zones allow children to play, teenagers to retreat and adults to unwind - all under one roof, yet never on top of one another.
Waterfront Living, Naturally
Anchorage Waters sits directly on a wide, calm stretch of the Nerang River, offering private pontoon access in the heart of the Gold Coast.
Launch a kayak at sunrise. Cruise the canals at golden hour. Cast a line from the jetty and help a grandchild reel in their first bream or flathead. Set the crab pots and gather later around the BBQ.
Mud crabs are frequently caught in season, and on occasion guests are treated to dolphins moving quietly through the river - a reminder that nature still flows through this central location.
The saltwater pool features a built-in safety ledge, allowing children and adults alike to enjoy the water comfortably. The heated eight-person spa overlooks the river, becoming a natural gathering point as the Surfers skyline begins to glow.
A sculptural covered daybed retreat offers a shaded cocoon-style space for reading, afternoon naps or simply enjoying the river breeze in privacy.
Many guests arrive with plans to explore the Gold Coast - only to find themselves happily staying in, because everything they need is already here.
Interior Comfort & Entertaining
Anchorage Waters blends scale with refinement.
At the heart of the home is a generous open-plan living and dining area flowing seamlessly to alfresco and poolside spaces through full-height stacker doors.
• Fully equipped kitchen with 900mm oven, built-in coffee machine and butler’s pantry
• Two full-size refrigerators, including dedicated drinks fridge

• Four separate living areas
• Full-size pool table
• Dedicated upstairs rumpus / media retreat with gaming console
• Smart televisions with streaming capability throughout
• Premium Foxtel including movies and sport

Designed for Multi-Generational Stays
Anchorage Waters is especially popular with families celebrating milestones - anniversaries, reunions and significant birthdays spanning grandparents, parents and grandchildren.
The layout accommodates guests of all ages, with two generously sized ground floor suites ideal for those preferring minimal stairs.
A full-size cot is available, along with additional travel cots, changing table, highchairs and stair gates for younger guests.
Just moments away is Lionel Perry Park - a peaceful waterfront green space perfect for sunset walks.
Surfers Paradise Beach is only a short, manageable walk - making beach days simple rather than logistical.
It is this ease that families value most.
Location & Accessibility
Paradise Island is widely regarded as one of Surfers Paradise’s most desirable residential pockets.
From the property you can genuinely walk to:
• Surfers Paradise Beach
• Cavill Avenue restaurants and entertainment
• Light rail and bus connections
• Foreshore parks and waterfront walks
A short walk feels very different from a long one when travelling with children or older family members. Here, convenience is real - not theoretical.
Private. Central. Exceptionally positioned.
Standards & Care
Anchorage Waters is privately owned and maintained to consistently high standards, with ongoing reinvestment to ensure the home remains fresh, functional and welcoming year after year.
Cleanliness, presentation and operational reliability are foundational to the experience.
Returning guests frequently comment not only on the location and layout, but on how well the home is cared for over time.
Designed for Considered Stays
Anchorage Waters operates as a fully approved and compliant short-term accommodation residence.
It is best suited to relaxed, respectful group holidays and family gatherings. It is not designed for parties, events or disruptive behavior.
This ensures a peaceful and enjoyable stay for guests and neighbors alike.
Anchorage Waters is chosen by those who want to bring everyone together - comfortably, generously and without compromise.
It’s the kind of place families return to — year after year — their quiet anchor point on the Gold Coast, and the one where the organizer looks around on the first evening and knows they chose well.
About the Owner
I have worked in tourism and hospitality since my early twenties, building a career across international hotel and marketing roles before settling on the Gold Coast. Travel has always been a passion of mine, and I understand that holidays are not just about accommodation - they are about shared experiences and lasting memories. Originally from England and now proudly based in Australia, I built Anchorage Waters in 2014 specifically to operate as a premium waterfront holiday residence. It was purposefully designed for large groups and multi-generational families to gather comfortably in one exceptional location. I take great pride in maintaining the home to a high standard and continually refining it to ensure guests enjoy a premium, memorable Gold Coast experience.
